I went surf fishing by oxnard southern california and i didnt catch any fish my set up was 7 foot rod 10 pound line , carolina rig , 1 oz egg sinker, and i casted to the surf line and for bait i used sandworm and sand crab or sand flea. I live like 5 miles in land and walked out of my house about 20 minutes ago and heard loud noises like explosions coming from he direction of the coast. I know there is a naval base near Oxnard. Anyone else hear this and or know what was causing the noises? thanks... Read More »
